摘要: The Scientific Panel on Plant Health (PLH) of the European Food Safety Authority was established in 2006 as reference EU body for risk assessment plant health area frame phytosanitary measures to prevent introduction and further spread organisms harmful (pests) plants or products. Proper diagnosis detection are critical categorization pests that may qualify quarantine pests, appropriate application measures. In carrying out its responsibilities, PLH is frequently faced by changes taxonomy nomenclature: these often lead a re-evaluation previous pest records, concerns with published literature, some cases increased use molecular taxonomic identification tools. Pathogens were previously considered strains/varieties single species, have now been elevated specific status. other pathogens recognised species complexes partitioned into named using criteria rather than traditional methods. problems can arise illustrated this Chapter examples representative main pathogen taxa.
