摘要: A theta pinch discharge was designed and constructed as a high-temperature plasma source for application to the emission spectrochemical analysis of solid samples. This has been operated up 32 kV (1.33 kJ), with peak current 60 kA. The magnetic field generated by this through double helical coil is 28 kG, resulting in calculated Thorough electrical characterization design specification are reported. 55 references, 11 figures, 1 table.
