摘要: Abstract The aim of this paper was to assess how much the variation in abundance Ruppia megacarpa within Wilson Inlet, Western Australia, could be attributed variations conductivity, turbidity, depth, dissolved oxygen, pH and temperature water column (hydrological variables). R. collected from six sites a bar built estuary southwestern Australia. Hydrological variables were measured seasonal assessed using non-metric Multi-Dimensional Scaling (non-metric MDS). Canonical Correlation Analysis (CCA) used determine correlations between these hydrological variables, for same time period with lag 2, 4 6 months. Strong patterns Inlet related rain annual winter opening channel ocean by local council. Conductivity, turbidity depth approximately 40% abundance. Morphological plasticity is hypothesized an important component unexplained 60% Strongest relationships individual over different periods: directly related; 2 months; conductivity This study confirms that variable estuarine system there strong relationship biological variables.
