摘要: Abstract General procedures for adapting emission inventories to regional models and studying the impact of differences in on model predictions are outlined. To illustrate methods, analysis two which still being validated is presented. The together satisfy current requirements NCAR acid deposition (RADM). These include anthropogenic emissions SO 2 , sulfate aerosol, NO, NO NH 3 volatile organic compounds (VOC) 10 reactivity classes, from United States Canadian point area sources 80-km grid resolutions, weekend weekday seasonally representative days a diurnal basis during 1980–1982 period. Application checking procedures, designed by our group screen subtle anomalies not identified at previous stages quality assurance employed inventory developers, resulted adjustments primarily VOC emissions. Comparisons modified inventories, provide an indication uncertainties due variations development revealed eastern total daily be most order 5 % x 20% 85% . Studies RADM were conducted 22–24 April 1981 period, was monitored as part Oxidation Scavenging Characteristics Rains program. Event wet differed 10% or less while midday O concentrations 1% individual grids over modeling domain.
