摘要: A vertical retaining wall, 4m high and 10m long, was constructed by reinforcing the backfill with geogrids. The layers were instrumented strain gauges, tensile geogrid load transducers horizontal displacement sensors. In addition, total soil pressure installed inside structure to monitor internal state of stress reinforced wall. aim this research is better understand behavior structures. particular, development slip surfaces forces acting in reinforcements investigated. By analysis it possible assess current design approaches related safety factors terms either long term failure, pullout, direct sliding or compound failures. Data reinforcement strains loads, applied pressures, rainfall construction sequences collected for two different geogrids over a period exceeding 10,000 hours.
