摘要: [1] When plants are both sensitive to salt levels in the root zone and able modify soil balance, changes vegetation cover may affect local hydrologic conditions favor accumulation of within different parts profile. In such cases a salt-vegetation feedback exist, whereby state with cover, deep water table, low salinity sparse or no vegetation, shallow high can be stable. this paper, we develop modeling framework relate vegetation–soil feedbacks emergence multiple stable states underlying dynamics. This model is used simulate various scenarios involving forcing parameters salinity-vegetation dynamics using data from Murray-Darling Basin. Results show presence strong resulting bistable for wide range environmental conditions, which has effect reducing resilience plant ecosystems productivity agricultural systems areas where occur.
