摘要: Cardiopulmonary effects of etomidate administration were studied in hypovolemic dogs. Baseline cardiopulmonary data recorded from conscious dogs after instrumentation. Hypovolemia was induced by withdrawal blood until mean arterial pressure 60 mm Hg achieved. Blood maintained at for 1 hour, further removal or replacement blood. One milligram etomidate/kg body weight then administered IV to 7 dogs, and the measured 3, 15, 30, minutes later. After prior administration, heart rate, oxygen tension, utilization ratio increased. Compared with baseline values, following variables decreased: pressure, pulmonary central venous wedge cardiac index, delivery, mixed content, carbon dioxide tension. Three admixture increased, pH, tension decreased, compared values immediately administration. Fifteen injection, pH rate remained decreased. At 30 minutes, only before Results this study indicate that induces minimal changes function when
