Reliability-based design optimization of structural systems using a hybrid genetic algorithm

摘要: In this paper, reliability-based design optimization (RBDO) of structures is addressed. For purpose, the global search and capabilities genetic algorithm (GA) are combined with efficiency reasonable accuracy an advanced moment-based finite element reliability method. performing RBDO, three variants GA including a real-coded, binary-coded improved binarycoded developed. these methods, performs (finite element) analyses to evaluate constraints. truss which include modeling, constraints evaluated using analysis. Response sensitivity required for analysis obtained by direct differentiation method (DDM) rather than difference (FDM). The proposed methods examined within four standard test examples real-world problems. results illustrate superiority GA. Results also that DDM significantly reduces computational cost improves procedure.
