摘要: A questionnaire based on a case-scenario offering three levels of available information about the patients' wishes was circulated with objective to evaluate compliance do-not-resuscitate orders (DNR) and advance directives (AD) from cross-cultural perspective. Replies 191 doctors 182 nurses Germany 104 122 Sweden were studied. The frequency cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) performed against patients varied between 32.5% (German for DNR-scenario) 8.3% (Swedish AD-scenario). variance regarding CPR decision could be explained by help obtained increasing preferred treatment options. Since is related detailed given patient use DNRs ADs should encouraged larger extent.
