A thousand ways to say 'Delicious!'-Categorizing expressions of deliciousness from restaurant reviews on the social network site Yelp.

摘要: This study explored expressions of deliciousness-one the main reasons people make specific food choices over others-from restaurant reviews on Yelp, a popular social network site. Through qualitative content analysis 205 from 41 establishments in Hawaii, we found 8 categories deliciousness. These eight created by both concept-driven and data-driven strategies are Sense, Culinary Affair, Matter Heart, Health, Testimonial Endorsement, Personal Signature, Consumer, Restaurant. Each category was further subcategorized. meaningful categorization might contribute to healthier eating helping policy makers companies craft effective for healthy schemes, menu items, or products. Marketers any product can also increase their market share utilizing these categories, subcategories, underlying concepts planning stage. Detailed examples nudging marketing campaigns inspired our findings were provided. Moreover, sites better serve health conscious hedonic consumers personalization through improved algorithms categories.
