Methanol-driven structuring of Au–Pt bimetallic nanoclusters on a thin film of Al2O3/NiAl(100)

摘要: Abstract The adsorption of methanol altered structures Au–Pt bimetallic nanoclusters on a thin film Al2O3/NiAl(100). Methanol adsorbed the intermixed clusters, which surfaces consist both Au and Pt, induced segregation from Pt. This state was unstable, as clusters returned to initial upon desorption or decomposition methanol. Ethanol cyclohexene were for comparisons, indicating that interaction hydroxyl group with accounts structural modifications.
