摘要: The removal of Omega Chrome Red ME (a popular chrome dye) from its aqueous solutions by adsorption on a homogeneous mixture fly ash and coal in different proportions has been carried out. It noted that low adsorbate concentration, small particle size adsorbent, temperature acidic medium favour the dye. A 100% said dye was achieved at 10 mg1−1, 30°C, 2.0 pH 53 μm size, using 1:1 ratio coal. kinetics mass transfer studies were made models suggested Lagergren McKay et al. respectively. equilibrium data fit well Langmuir model adsorption, showing formation monolayer coverage molecules outer surface adsorbent. Effect explained basis solubility chemical potential adsorbate. An attempt to explain results thus obtained various physiochemical properties solid-solution interface involved process removal.
