Excitation control of a power‐generating system based on fuzzy logic and neural networks

摘要: This paper presents a practical design of an intelligent controller (using fuzzy logic and neural network concepts) for the excitation control isolated power-generating system. The is suitable realtime operation, with aim improving dynamic characteristics generating unit by acting properly on exciter input. At first, digital simulations high- reduced-order models above system are performed using conventional techniques five cases which based previous work. Then, proportional-plus-derivative (FPDC) designed performances mentioned FPDCs presented comparison. Finally, enhanced involves pre-trained as model dynamics capture. computer simulation results obtained clearly demonstrate that performance developed offers better damping effects generator oscillations over wider range operating conditions, than associated ones designs output feedback applied to models.
