摘要: Abstract Starting from the experimental observation and theoretical prediction that different types of highly birefringent (Hi-Bi) fibres suppress LP11 polarization modes, a generalized analysis LP01–LP11 intermodal interference in Hi-Bi bimodal optical is presented. Differential attenuation for each four modes assumed and, on this basis, spatial Stokes parameters accounting effects are derived. The most important particular cases elliptical-core, bow-tie PANDA-type considered. application to combined polarimetric sensitive sensors, as well simultaneous multiparameter sensing commented upon.
