Influence of age on tooth autotransplantation with complete root formation.

摘要: The aim of this study was to investigate risk factors with age in the long-term prognosis autotransplantation teeth complete root formation at dental clinics. Participating dentists were asked provide information on transplantations they had undertaken from 1 January 1990 31 December 2010. Data a total 708 637 patients collected. data screened exclude who under 25 or 70 years and over, those smokers whose smoking habits unknown, transplanted incomplete multiple roots fewer than present post-operation. participants 71 men (74 teeth) 100 women (107 ranging 69 years age. Third molars used as donor 89·0% cases. divided into three groups 25-39, 40-54 55-69. Survival analysis conducted using Kaplan-Meier method, log-rank test revealed that there no significant differences for women. Cox regression indicated survival not influenced by However, although statistically significant, clinical success rate lower 55-69-year-old group younger groups.
