摘要: Polymer extrusion is fundamental to the processing of polymeric materials and melt flow temperature homogeneity a major factor which influences product quality. Undesirable thermal conditions can cause problems such as degradation, dimensional instability, weaknesses in mechanical/optical/geometrical properties, so forth. It has been revealed that varies with time radial position across die. However, majority polymer processes use only single-point techniques whose measurements are limited single point at they fixed. Therefore, it impossible for determine flow. In this work, an extensive investigation was carried out into behavior output extruder different polymers screw geometries over wide range conditions. Melt profiles process were observed using thermocouple mesh placed results confirmed positions. The uniformity deteriorated considerably increase rotational speed while also shown be dependent on settings, geometry, material properties. Moreover, appears effects material, machine, settings quantity quality heavily coupled each other may difficult predict variable nature. POLYM. ENG.
