摘要: Noise radars are electromagnetic systems that use random signals for detecting and locating reflecting objects. Besides high performance against external interferences (intentional or not), the stochastic nature of transmitted waveforms may lead to suppression range ambiguity in detection targets low sidelobes, if parameters properly chosen. This paper addresses a probabilistic analysis derive mathematical expressions signal-to-noise ratios, peak-to-sidelobe ratios signal-to-interference (due ambiguous targets) throughout typical receiver processing chain pulsed FM noise radar. A employs matched filtering pulse integration prior was considered. Pulse compression gains (in signal-to-interference, due targets, ratios) also derived. The provides closed-form relating precise dependence sidelobe levels as well interference time, transmit signal bandwidth, number integrated pulses.
