摘要: Internationally, a wide set of measures are being considered to reduce flood risk: natural management (NFM) is one them. NFM includes broad range that alter, restore or use landscape features manage risk. By working with catchment-wide hydrological and morphological processes, aims the sources pathways floodwaters. can nevertheless conflict other land uses, in particular agricultural food production. Our research aimed explore farmers' perceptions identify criteria influencing decision making implementation. Using findings from workshop, qualitative interviews national survey carried out Scotland, this paper identifies six key farmers consider when implementing NFM: economics, availability advice support, public perception, joined-up policy, catchment planning traditions. While number these consistent agri-environment literature studies, our study makes some novel regarding farmer how affects farm business. We conclude installation could be encouraged through one-to-one trusted facilitator long-term financial incentives compliment payments. This should combined approach flooding, which highlights shared responsibility for reducing
