The innervation of the adrenal gland. III. Vagal innervation.

摘要: Following the injection of 3-5 microliters horseradish peroxidase or Fast Blue into left adrenal medulla, labelling neurons in vagal sensory ganglia rats and guinea-pigs has been demonstrated all cases. Labelled motor with cell bodies dorsal nucleus vagi have cases guinea-pig occasionally rat. The possible reasons for this variation are discussed. In both rat innervation is derived from bilaterally situated proportion two sides approximately equal but a slight ipsilateral predominance.
