摘要: Abstract Polygamy threshold models are the most widely accepted explanations for mating systems of passerine birds; polygyny is proposed to arise through female choice and cooperative polyandry male choice. There is, however, often confusion about what these predict; a variety patterns settlement reproductive success would occur depending on assumptions made costs sharing distribution choices available. Many workers have tested predictions without considering whether apply their study. Assumptions remain be experimentally there little information Furthermore, unlikely explained by one party; conflicts interest within between sexes, so individuals will not always end up with options they choose. Variable may as an outcome sexual conflict.
