Factors affecting purchasing process of digestate: evidence from an economic experiment on Sicilian farmers’ willingness to pay

摘要: In this study, we evaluate from the perspective of theory commitment costs if level farmer understanding about digestate attributes could influence willingness to pay (WTP) for it. For purpose, carried out a research on sample 223 Sicilian farmers correlate their WTP with set eight which usually characterise organic soil conditioners. An experimental design was up so that participants were given different waiting times decide and levels information The results highlight positive WTP, but are strongly influenced by how much is available digestate. Without it, farmers’ decreases drastically probably due phenomena correlated what economic calls costs.
