摘要: PURPOSE OF REVIEW Myocardial strain imaging has gained popularity during the last decade in various clinical scenarios. The objective of this article was to review potential application two-dimensional (2D) and three-dimensional (3D) strains patients with coronary artery disease. RECENT FINDINGS Reports on diagnostic accuracy myocardial deformation analysis using 2D 3D speckle-tracking analyses detect significant stenosis at rest or stress evaluate viability are limited. A newer approach that uses layer-specific might be sensitive detection subtle regional dysfunction induced by ischemia. However, its is controversial. assessment wall motion 2D/3D not recommended because measurement variabilities. SUMMARY Further studies required for adoption technology
