摘要: Transgenic mice expressing enhanced green fluorescent protein (EGFP) driven by the mouse myelin proteolipid (PLP) gene promoter have been developed to investigate cells in oligodendrocyte lineage. Transgene expression is consistent with developmental of PLP, at all stages differentiation clearly visualized. These animals were analyzed establish time course progenitor migration, proliferation, and neonatal cortex. In these animals, two populations NG2 proteoglycan-positive identified that exist postnatal subventricular zone are distinguished presence or absence PLP expression. Thus, defines a subpopulation NG2-positive from very early ages, which migrates toward pial surface proliferates situ . EGFP + /NG2 present cortex day 1, they remain as undifferentiated progenitors for up 3 weeks before myelination begins. data could be explained an important inhibitor during this period, downregulated region-specific manner allow myelination. On other hand, it possible until essential signal produced induce differentiation.
