摘要: Purpose To examine interrelationships among Vestibular/Ocular-Motor Screen (VOMS) items and to characterize the recovery of VOMS performance in a sample adolescents treated with vestibular physical therapy (VPT) after concussion. Methods Seventy-seven patients concussion 77 participants without completed study. Adolescents received an individualized VPT intervention consisting targeted exercises for gaze stability, postural ocular-motor control, habituation, aerobic activities. The were performed during weekly clinic visit via home exercise program. Results Except near-point convergence distance, all significantly interrelated. Over course VPT, significant improvements observed, discharge scores similar observed Conclusions measured moderately related functions captured changes over VPT. Clinicians should consider contextual risk "false positive" their interpretation VOMS.
