摘要: The hepatoprotective action of silymarin, the active principle extracted from fruit Silybum marianum (L.) Gaertn., in animals (dogs, rabbits, rats, mice) intoxicated with phalloidine is evident, both after protective and curative treatment. A dose 15 mg/kg silymarin protects every animal when given 60 min before toxin. When injected 10 mim phalloidine, a 100 again provides total protection. However, as time span between administration toxic substance start treatment increases, so efficacy decreases; 30 its effect negligible. histochemical histoenzymological studies show that during intoxication mice by inhibits regulates functions hepatocyte, either or phalloidine.
