摘要: A five-year follow-up study of the effects treating patients with both mild and moderate hypertension was performed. The were identified during a hospital-based community survey hypertension. total 961 divided into four groups. first group, controls, age- sex-matched normotensive subjects selected sequentially from same survey. second group defined as well-controlled hypertensives; third whose blood pressures less well-controlled; fourth consisted who, for various reasons, not treated such acted an untreated control group. Both mortality morbidity considerably greater in than normal subjects. hypertensive showed no difference either or had significantly cardiovascular but excess over groups 1 2. This true women well men. These findings therefore confirm conclusions other recent studies that good at all levels sexes is justified by reduction even excellent considerable benefit.
