摘要: Utilities are considering the adoption of guidelines for evolution electric grid in near future, better known as Smart Grid. An important approach to this is improvement energy meter management and implantation demand response control programs supported by an advanced metering infrastructure. This paper describes considerations establish a favorable environment develop first step toward Grid, taking like starting point deployment infrastructure system major Utility south west Colombia. The design communications architecture using Wireless Local Area Networks ZigBee presented, along with performance evaluation network model.
