摘要: Two-dimensional correlation infrared spectroscopy (2DIR) and a newly developed perturbation moving window (PCMW) technique was employed to study the precise supramolecular self-assembly nature of poly[di(butyl)vinyl terephthalate] (PDBVT), novel thermotropic liquid crystalline polymer which can self-assemble into two-dimensional hexagonal columnar (2D ΦH) phase without conventional mesogens. PCMW had found weak transition temperature be about 85 °C, further divided “S or anti-S” shaped spectral variations three evolving stages. 2DIR results indicated that carbonyl groups acted as starting point molecular motions upon heating, significant influence on formation 2D ΦH phase. Based additional motion sequence symmetric asymmetric C–H stretching vibrations, whole process PDBVT mesoscale, whose backbones experienced “extension–distortion–slight extension” consecutive elucidated.
