摘要: Granulosa cell proliferations that simulated small neoplasms were incidental findings in the ovaries of nine pregnant women. The lesions typically multiple and associated with atretic follicles. In eight cases, granulosa cells arranged solid, insular, microfollicular, trabecular patterns, but ninth case, there was a prominent sertoliform tubular pattern. contained scanty cytoplasm grooved nuclei, resembling adult-type tumors. However, one case large nodules markedly luteinized variably sized, round, nongrooved nuclei present; this superficially resembled pregnancy luteomas. pattern, had abundant vacuolated cytoplasm. described probably reflect an unusual physiological response to elevated chorionic gonadotropin level rather than early stages neoplasia.
