摘要: Hyundai Heavy Industries Co., Ltd. (HHI) has developed a prototype of high temperature superconducting (HTS) fault current limiter (FCL) in Dec. 2006. The ratings the HTS FCL were 13.2 kV voltage and 630 A at normal condition. This had coil composed 7 concentric windings for limiting element which are wound by using unique bifilar method with YBCO coated conductor (CC). CC on bobbin was insulated Kapton tape completed assembling copper connection parts. cooled down to 65 K enhancement cryo-dielectric performance critical capacity. short-circuit test performed asymmetrical prospective 10 kA. resistance began rise up from 0.624 ms after fault. At about 1/4 cycle fault, exceeded its temperature. 0.1 s calculated be 11.8 Omega 250 respectively designed 13 300 K.
