摘要: Aim.  This paper presents the development and content of a person-centred nursing framework. Background rationale.  Person-centred is widely used concept in health care generally, range literature articulates key components nursing. evidence base highlights links between this approach previous work on therapeutic caring. Methods.  The framework was developed through an iterative process involved series systematic steps to combine two existing conceptual frameworks derived from empirical studies. included mapping original against caring literature, critical dialogue develop combined framework, focus groups with practitioners co-researchers larger research project test its face validity. Findings.  comprises four constructs –prerequisites, which attributes nurse; environment, focuses context delivered; processes, delivering activities; expected outcomes, are results effective relationship suggests that, deliver account must be taken prerequisites environment that necessary for providing processes.
