摘要: Television is ubiquitous in American households and becoming a pervasive force the growth development of children. More time spent watching television than formal classroom instruction. Early studies, which failed to control for IQ socioeconomic status, showed variable effects heavy viewing on school performance. Later, better controlled studies have consistently demonstrated significant deleterious effect more 1 or 2 h/day academic performance, particularly reading scores. Innovative programs that teach children how watch critically appropriate management strategies parents are discussed.
