The role of teacher in students’ attitudes to and achievement in palaeontology

摘要: This study investigated the attitudes and achievements 13/14-year-old pupils in palaeontology with respect to school type, gender perception of teacher. Palaeontology provides important evidence support theory of evolution thus it is for science educator to understand held by their this science topic. A factor analysis applied a 23 Likert - type palaeontology attitude questionnaire extracted five independent factors that represent pupils' school out school attitudes, future career and perception teachers involvement palaeontology. spider type concept map was designed examine understanding of prehistoric life main geological eras. It found that grammar also had better achievement when compared elementary pupils.
