摘要: Abstract Traditional applications of clay minerals mainly involve cosmetics, but currently the attention is devoted to tissue engineering. The interest due possibility easily modify composition and structure minerals. In particular structural flexibility, small particle size, feasibility preparing nanocomposites by using biopolymers furnish diverse possibilities in pharmaceutical development medical devices/drug delivery systems. Recently have been proposed as substrates matrices enhance stem cell proliferation differentiation including osteoinduction. fact demonstrated interactions with biomolecules, allowing new options for matrix proteins, growth factors, genes regeneration; addition, based on clay–polymer show evidenced improved mechanical properties. Moreover cells could interact clays, suggesting opportunities functionalization surfaces enhanced reparative response. This chapter focuses properties materials their use regeneration, repair bioengineering fields. Attention biomedical wound healing medicine
