Novel edge coupled-stripline bandpass filter with significant improvement of attenuation in the stopband

摘要: Novel quarter-wavelength coupled pairs of strip transmission-line bandpass filters with attenuation poles are proposed. We propose a novel modification reference to the edge-coupled structures that consist open-circuited stepped impedance stubs or uniform impedances terminating first and last pair filter structure. A design method is presented enabling realization in symmetrical TEM transmission lines. Design equations established from input reflection coefficient analysis. Imperceptible changes passband possible.
