摘要: Alternative Orthodontic Bonding Protocol Using Self Etching Primer By Rush-Baker G. Caldwell, D.M.D. A thesis submitted in partial fulfillment of the requirements for degree Master Science Dentistry at Virginia Commonwealth University. University, 2008 Thesis Director: Eser Tufekci, D.D.S., MS, Ph. D. Associate Professor, Department Orthodontics The purpose current study was to develop a bonding method that can achieve clinically acceptable bond strength values while leaving minimum amount adhesive on tooth surface during debonding process. One hundred teeth were randomly assigned into groups. Five different enamel preparation protocols tested (N = 20, each): Conventional acid etch, standard SEP, SEP applied with light brush stroke (altered 1), directly composite pre-coated bracket 2), and Only Brackets debonded using an Instron universal testing machine (Instron, Canton, MA) shear mode mean calculated. In addition, surfaces examined under microscope determine location failure ARI. group had significantly lower (0.14 MPa, P 0.05). With
