摘要: Androgen receptors participate in the neuroendocrine regulation of male sexual behavior, primarily brain areas located limbic system. Males many species present a long-term inhibition behavior after several ejaculations, known as satiety. It has been shown rats that androgen receptor expression is reduced 24h single ejaculation, or mating to satiety, medial preoptic area, nucleus accumbens and ventromedial hypothalamus. The aim this study was analyze these processes another animal, mandarin vole (Microtus mandarinus). We compared differences (AR) testosterone (T) various between voles sexually satiated those exposed receptive females but not allowed mate. Sexual satiety associated with decreased AR T lateral septal (LS), amygdala (MeA), area (mPOA) hypothalamic (VMH). showed an increase bed stria terminalis (BNST), LS, MeA VMH. Serum levels remained unchanged males mated These data suggest relationship activity decrease specific areas, motivation increased other independently levels.
