摘要: In a contextual analysis it is found that students in schools with high sex ratios have higher educational aspirations than low (i.e. male-female ratios) population of white high-school senior Davidson County, Tennessee. The effect sex-ratio context persists when sex, intelligence, and father's education are controlled. "consexual effect" interpreted as consequence anticipatory socialization. interpretation the exposed speculative, artifactual, substantively trivial. Covariance dummy-variable regression advocated more suitable techniques for measurement differences among groups.
