摘要: The objective of water quality index calculation is to change complex data into information that understandable and useable by the public. In other word, a tool used summarize large amounts complex, highly technical simple, easy-to-understand message. There are various method developed in world. One them Department Environment (DOE) Malaysia. This has been successfully applied measure for 462 rivers involved six parameters which DO, BOD, COD, AN, SS, pH. procedure consists 3 steps: identity sub-index (SI) equation based on value parameter, calculate every index. study aims simplify DOE using graphical application. Using this method, can be cut down two steps only. very useful calculating without computer or any equations. samples Belau Kuripan River Bandar Lampung, Indonesia. good agreement between result produced conventional one sample.
