摘要: PURPOSE To report the mid-term outcomes of hemi-Descemet membrane endothelial keratoplasty (hemi-DMEK) performed for Fuchs corneal dystrophy (FECD). METHODS In this prospective, interventional case series, we evaluated clinical 10 eyes from patients who underwent hemi-DMEK FECD. Main outcome measures were best-corrected visual acuity (BCVA), cell density (ECD), central pachymetry, and postoperative complications. RESULTS At 1 year postoperatively, 7/7 (excluding 2 with low potential) reached a BCVA ≥20/40 (≥0.5), 6/7 (86%) ≥20/25 (≥0.8), 4/7 (57%) ≥20/20 (≥1.0), 2/7 (29%) 20/17 (≥1.2). remained stable until years postoperatively (P ≥ 0.05) further improved thereafter < 0.05). Mean ECD decreased 2740 (±180) cells/mm preoperatively to 850 (±300) (n = 9) at ≤ showed an annual decrease on average 6% 7% 0.05 between consecutive follow-ups). Pachymetry 745 (±153) μm 533 (±63) 527 (±35) 8) 3 respectively. Within first 6 months, 4/10 rebubbling visually significant graft detachment. One eye received secondary circular DMEK persistent detachment month postoperatively; another developed failure 2.5 was suspected allograft reaction 1.5 postoperatively. CONCLUSIONS Hemi-DMEK may render comparable those achieved by conventional DMEK. Despite counts levels remain fairly thereafter. Hence, become potential alternative technique treatment FECD while increasing yield tissue pool.
