Sub-picosecond IR-spectroscopy of aqueous salt solutions: monitoring the microscopic dynamics

摘要: Abstract Sub-picosecond IR-spectroscopy of the OH-band aqueous salt solutions is presented. We find a notable lengthening OH-lifetime by presence dissolved ions factor 2 (LiCl) up to 2.7 (NaCl). Simultaneously average reorientation excited OH-dipoles slows down 12 ps (273 K) and 4 (343 K, NaCl).
