摘要: This paper discusses a long term compression behavior of fibrous peat, analyzed based on data obtained from consolidation test performed in Rowe cell with excess pore water pressure measurement. The preliminary results show that the peat used this study is classified as low to medium degree decomposition and very high organic fiber contents which are typical found Peninsular Malaysia. has compressibility primary index 3.15 significant secondary stage not constant logarithmic time. started early 65% consolidation. showed measurement using advantageous because it enables observation large deformation better assessment peat. separation important for evaluation
