摘要: To elucidate the putative etiologic role of human papillomaviruses (HPV) in oral carcinogenesis, a comparative study was carried out on 62 tissue specimens squamous cell carcinoma (OSCC) and histologically normal mucosa obtained from individuals who matched subjects with OSCC age, gender, localization specimens, drinking smoking habits. Internal control amplification showed that amplifiable DNA recovered 59/62 61/62 samples mucosa, respectively. The two different HPV L1 one E6 consensus primer sets presence genotypes 16, 33, 58 5/59 (8.4%) 11, 31, 68 4/61 (6.6%) tested. In which examination for first time performed patients age- gender-matched there no significant difference prevalence among both groups. Our results suggest occasional findings may be result an incidental colonization rather than viral infection, HPVs play limited etiopathogenesis majority OSCC.
