摘要: We demonstrate that simple cyclical selection, in particular, selection for a trait controlled by multiple additive, dominant, or semidominant loci can result extremely complex limiting behavior (CLB) of population trajectories including supercycles and chaotic-like phenomena. These CLB may arise rather broad natural class multilocus systems, both haploid diploid, with panmixia more breeding systems (such as partial selfing random mating mixed asexual reproduction). The observed dynamics appear to manifest certain stability respect disturbances parameters specifying the recombination, system (fixed genotype-dependent). This discovered diversity far exceeds range dynamic patterns described earlier these ordinary models. It represent novel evolutionary mechanism increasing genetic over long-term time periods. could contribute observation biological has increased geological regardless well-known massive extinctions.
