Obtaining a 3-D orientation of projective textures using a morphological method

摘要: On the premise that texture image is a planar surface, we propose new morphological approach to obtain 3-D surface orientation using variation of caused by projective distortions. Centroids texels can be obtained from farthest texel nearest sequentially recursive erosions, so segmented into several sub-regions. Using major axes and sizes structuring elements in regions, compute vanishing point orientation. In experiments, have ascertained proposed algorithm was more effective than aggregation transform.
