摘要: Human males absent on the first (hMOF), a human ortholog of Drosophila MOF protein, is responsible for histone H4 lysine 16 (H4K16) acetylation in cells. The depletion hMOF leads to global reduction H4K16 cells, genomic instability, cell cycle defects, reduced transcription certain genes, defective DNA damage repair and early embryonic lethality. Studies have shown that abnormal gene expression involved number primary cancers. present study examined involvement clinically diagnosed ovarian cancer tissues. Clinically frozen tissues were used polymerase chain reaction (PCR), quantitative PCR (qPCR), western blotting immunohistochemical staining approaches. A analysis mRNA 47 samples revealed downregulation 81% patients, whereas only 13% patients demonstrated upregulation. qPCR was validate frequent As expected, 57 significantly downregulated (>2-fold decrease) 65% while 87% with decrease hMOF. its regulated gene, HCP5, are frequently cancer, suggesting may be pathogenesis disease.
