摘要: In any review of the viruses responsible for causing human myocarditis, one naturally focuses on 6 serotypes group B coxsackieviruses (CVB 1–6) (Table 2–1), enteroviruses that have been well-established as primary causes disease since mid-1950s. However, data from mid-1990s suggested 2 other players whose roles seem also to be significant in causation this disease. Human adenovirus (Ad) DNA, specifically type (Ad2) has detected a large proportion myocarditis cases. To date, there are no confirmed suggesting Ad involved, but it is not clear whether sufficient work done screen and so eliminate possibility genotypes. Hepatitis C virus (HCV) flavivirus, identified potential cause especially studies Japanese patients, although evidence causal link elsewhere less sound. Many than these 3 distinct named real or agents viral inflammatory cardiomyopathy, CVB, Ad2 maybe Ad, HCV seem, at present, basis isolation diseased tissue, serologic studies, some molecular detection method such reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction (RT- PCR) nucleic acid hybridization. Although deals with groups specifically, reader should understand sole those which strong cases can made etiologic role. This examines papers published mainly 1996; we direct earlier1–4 more recent5–11 reviews references.
