摘要: Immunoreactive (IR) cell bodies, reacting with an antiserum specific for the 48-64 region of bovine parathyroid hormone (PTH), were detected in brains primitive vertebrates (hagfish), bullfrogs, and higher (mice). In each species IR perikarya located preoptic region, although precise location abundance differed among species. Fiber tracts from these traced to neurohypophysis hagfish but only median eminence bullfrog mouse, where axonal terminals close proximity hypophyseal portal blood vessels. These results suggest that a novel PTH-like peptidergic system, similar those secreting hypophysiotropic-releasing factors, is present vertebrate brain.
