Multivariable regression models were conducted separately for females males each two time periods accounted demographics, primary caregiver symptoms, other subtypes, youth-reported 12 symptoms. For girls, degradation only subtype contributed unique variance Degradation school chronic had a stronger impact on depression Only isolating behaviors year isolation predicted in boys. These results suggest childhood is multi-dimensional implicated etiology Future prevention efforts should consider parental reducing risk depression.
