摘要: For an investigation of problems composites at high strain rates with dominant wave propagation effects, such as dynamically loaded composite jet engine blades, the longitudinal, transverse, and in-plane shear properties unidirectional SP 288/AS graphite/epoxy were measured various ranging from quasi-static to over 500/s. The test specimens rings 10.16 cm in diameter, 2.54 long, 6 8 plies thick, fibers 0, 90, 10 deg off-axis. Quasi-static testing was conducted a fixture which applies hydraulic pressure ring specimens, dynamic by applying internal pulse through liquid special fixture. Dynamic stress-strain curves are presented. 0-deg modulus increases up 20 percent static value. strength increase sharply 90-deg rate reaching values two three times corresponding rate.
